Sierra Leone and Vasteras first choice keeper Christian Caulker (in photo warning up for Niger clash) has told SEM UK sport desk that he can’t wait for a victory against the African Champions in September when both Sierra Leone and the Pharaohs lock horns. (Caulker wants victory against Egypt)

The fine sensational keeper was talking just after his arrival back to Sweden from National duty. “If I want to be honest, confidence is back in ourselves and a win against Egypt will put us second behind South Africa, that will be a spectacular result,” he said.

Caulker 22, was very instrumental for Sierra Leone in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations that is one of the reasons he was attracted by his present club Vasteras management.

Caulker has been Sierra Leone’s first choice goalkeeper since making his international debut against Guinea Bissau on October 15, 2007.

He started in all six games for Sierra Leone at the first round group stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria and South Africa.

The highly regarded keeper from Sierra Leone also warns his teammates against complacency when they face Egypt.

“It is clear Egypt, despite their struggles, are still among the best, so hosting them means we have to forget about the win against Niger and concentrate on another victory.  No complacency, ” he said.

“South Africa group leaders will be away in Niger, any sharing of points will do us a favour,”  he laughed.
