The AIK new goal poacher told Sierra Express Media UK that he is always ready to give his best to national duty.

“I was very proud and so pleased to get the winner that put us back in contention in group G of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, and for me the goal is a remarkable goal that will go down in history as my first ever goal for my country at senior international level,” he said.

“Scoring a vital goal that earns not only a victory, but confidence. And I think it was important for our fans too, they are always behind us, in good or bad. I was very much delighted with my teammates also for their support, it was a clear victory and I know we deserved to win by more goal margin if we had taken all our chances.”

Bangura, who is presently AIK Solna’s top scorer, is in a great form of his career scoring vital important goals for his Swedish club and in recent months has been subjected to latest transfers rumours to the English Premiership.

The AIK Solna striker is already making the headlines in Sweden, in eight league games he has scored four goals and over the weekend the combined efforts of Kei Kamara, and AIK teammate Mohamed Pobosky Bangura in the attack ensured that Leone Stars dominated the game against Mena.

The 21-year-old believes he can play football better in the bigger leagues, but maintains he wants to improve more with his Swedish club despite all the interest in him.

He is back in Sweden getting ready to face Swedish league champions Malmo this Sunday in front of 35,000 home fans at the Rasunda Stadium.  AIK is presently in mid-table in the Swedish Allsvenskan losing to Kalmar and Gefle respectively in their last two league games.
