May 11 – Rasta/Bob Marley Day
The world’s most outstanding reggae musician, Nesta Robert “Bob” Marley, died on 11th May 1981. His death was greeted with respect and honors by elites the world over.
As in previous years, Rastafarians all the way through celebrate the departure of who they consider as a prophet (Nesta Robert “Bob” Marley).
Lawyers, Doctors, Police and respectable persons of society stick together in memory of one of a kind, never to resurrect or make a come back to this world – Rasta Marley.
Public’s opinion states that the late man’s lyrics logically predict farsighted and unforeseen occurrences, which up until his death reverberated in the ears of the uprights, knowledgeable, intellectuals and worth rating individuals of society.
Bob Nester Marley-OHM ‘order of his majesty,’ has his name supposedly written in the books of the spirit man.
His works are unfailing and will never grow fainter.

Bob Marley has influenced the entire world with his music, which will live on to be rediscovered by more and more generations to come. His work has affected my life and my art so much. I paid tribute to him with a surreal and psychedelic portrait inspired by his words. You can see it on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/05/in-memoriam-bob-marley.html
