PMDC office turns prostitute center
The office of Peoples Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC) in the northern provincial town of Makeni has had night girls using it as brothel home.
Though situated along the main highway at No. 35 Hazolini Street in Makeni town, caretaker Pa. Yamba accommodates night sex workers (prostitutes) to go about sexual interaction with street boys at the PMDC office and receives three thousand leones (Le 3000) as sanctuary fee per meeting.
Our correspondent who visited the office in Makeni confirmed that commercial sex workers parading peripheries of ‘Disco Flamingo,’ which is few yards from the aforenamed party office, have had field days doing sex business (sex for money) at the aforementioned political party office unrestrained.
It is a fact that commercial sex workers boycott registered guest houses in Makeni town owing to its high cost.
It is revealed though that commercial sex workers substitute PMDC office owing to high fees charged them by owners of registered guest houses.
A sex worker who spoke to our reporter on the grounds of anonymity said persons hiring them for sexual interaction are charged Le 15,000.
“Out of the Le 15.000, we pay Le 3,000 to the caretaker of PMDC office,” she said.
Contacting him for comment, the chairman and leader of PMDC, Mr. Charles Francis Margai, sounded quite furious and responded negatively to questions asked him by the editor of Sierra Express Media.
“Bo, how can you question me on such issue? If it were President Koroma would you have asked him,” the PMDC leader said.
He unacceptably and unreasonably cut off the telephone interview as if talking to an enemy.
