Wife takes husband to court
Samir Patel was in the well of Magistrate Court No. 2 to answer to a charge of fraudulent conversion.
In the particulars of the offence, it is stated that the accused received the sum of $30.000 (thirty thousand dollars) from Salima Patel (his legally wedded wife), money entrusted to him for safe keeping.
The accused was granted bail in the sum of Le50 million and two sureties.
Matter is adjourned to 6th April.
