Another court case for SLPP
Reports received by this paper indicate that the newly elected Chairman of the West District of the Sierra Leones Peoples Party (SLPP), Mr. John Bakie Sao Tucker, has threatened to drag his party to Court if they insist on re-running the elections on Saturday, March 26 this year.
He explained that Mr. Lansana Fadika, the party’s Western Region Chairman has instructed that there should be a re-run of the polls because of a protest made by his challenger, Mr. Ali Dausy Masslly, who has said that the elections were not fair as he was not present at the elections.
An aide to Mr. Fadika explained spoke with this paper late last evening that after careful investigations of the report it has been ascertained that indeed the elections were flawed and there was therefore need to rerun them on Saturday 26 March.
