‘Resolution’ – new album from upcoming musical star, K-One
One of Sierra Leone’s upcoming musical stars, Sylvanus Conteh K-One Up Again With Album aka K-One, is back with his new album titled ‘Resolution,’ to thrill music loving Sierra Leone with positive dictions that mirror image Sierra Leone’s 50th independence.
The newly produced album has songs like ‘1961,’ ‘I don’t want to be lonely,’ ‘My greatest,’ etc.
Prominent in the album is a song titled ‘1961’ which sends a message that cautions and educates Sierra Leoneans on issues of national loyalty, development, and love for all.
In his part, the thrilling musical lyricist told Sierra Express Media that it is his wish to see Sierra Leone climb high above nations.
“I took a duty of care to meticulously remix a song titled ‘1961’ because I intend to tell fellow Sierra Leoneans to love one another and work towards national development,” K-One said.
He furthered that foremost among issues concerning Sierra Leone and Sierra Leoneans is change of attitude.
“Look, I am into music for about 15 years now,” K-One confidently emphasized, adding “and have always thought of preaching messages of development rather say things that derail society in general.”
K-One respectfully called on all to listen keenly to phraseologies in the song titled ‘1961,’ take heed of what is said, and put same into practical consideration.
That he was urged to do a remix of music ‘1961’ in order for him to contribute to Sierra Leone’s 50th celebrations.
“Yes, Sierra Leone celebrates 50, but are Sierra Leoneans ready to make a change for the betterment of our society?” K- One asks.
The forward looking musical libretto calls on compatriot’s musicians to join him to sell Sierra Leone by way of music.
He however gave an account of what positivism means in the sending of educational information through music.
To him, the new album will be launched in the not too distant future.
The album ‘Resolution’ replicates lyrics of musical soothsayers, who in the past have predicted future happenings of society.
“No time to waste,” K-One said “join the band wagon, admit to past wrongs and help make Mother Sierra Leone now. At 50, it is time for work, no play at all.”
“I respectfully and humbly say ‘kudos’ to all Sierra Leoneans and ‘One Love’ to fans of K-One. Let’s celebrate Sierra Leone with music ‘1961’ and album ‘Resolution’ ya!”
