Liberian Striker Doeplah found dead
Reports from Liberia capital Monrovia have indicated to Sierra Express Media that Liberian International versatile player, Patrick Doeplah (in photo) was found dead after arriving to help his country in this weekend’s 2012 Olympic Games qualifier.
His agent, Dawn Greenberg, confirmed the death, hinting the player may have died following a cardiac arrest. Doeplah who arrived in Monrovia on Monday night, died early Tuesday morning at the John F. Kennedy (JFK) Memorial Hospital in Monrovia our sources has confirmed.
The 20-year-old, plays for Hapoel Kfar Saba, was allowed to visit his family on Monday night, before returning to the camp ahead of their clash with Cote d’Ivoire in Ghana.
After failing to wake for Tuesday morning training, causing alarm amongst hotel official and they later broke down his room door, only to found him very cold.
This is a heartfelt moment for the fine striker family and friends.
