Election of SLAJ National and Regional Executives
The Electoral Commission of SLAJ wishes to inform the membership of SLAJ that elections for SLAJ National and Regional Executives will take place during the Biennial Conference on Saturday March 26, 2011 from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
The membership is hereby informed that, the following persons have been nominated for the respective positions as indicated in the table below:

Objection against any nominee can be sent to the Electoral Commission not later than 24 hrs after the publication of this release.
Attached to this release are copies of the voters register, members are requested to check the register and contact the office if they have any query. Please note that NO ONE will be allowed to vote if his or her name is not on the register. No receipt will be accepted.
Members should also note that proxy votes will only be accepted from members who are eligible to vote but cannot attend the Biennial due to illness and overseas trip. In the case of illness, a medical certificate endorsed by a medical doctor should accompany the votes for it to be considered.
Proxy votes should be in an enclosed envelope addressed to the chief electoral commissioner, SLAJ
Campaigning will commence on Thursday March 17, 2011, and end on Thursday March 24, 2011 at 6:00pm.
