Police applicant arrested
An applicant who scored the highest marks during the police in-take examinations has been arrested for ‘entering the police force by means of fraud.’
Abu Bakarr Bangura, a former pupil of the Ahmadiya Secondary School came first among the lot that took the exams at the police training School at Hastings Village.
Police sources say Abu Bakarr took the exams as an applicant and was asked to submit two passport size photographs and a school leaving testimonial to the recruitment team.
He was short listed and allowed to take part in an examination conducted at the Police Training School at Hastings Village.
Abu Bakarr Bangura was later called upon for interview at the Kingtom Police Mess where consequently it was noticed that the testimonial he submitted does not belong to him.
He was however arrested and later frog marched to Central Police Station for further investigation.
Police sources say Abu Bakarr Bangura is deservedly not in shape to take the concluded police in-take exams.
He is currently in smelly Central Police Station cells languishing.
