Four in police net for murder
Police officers attached to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Congo Cross are at present investigating four persons suspected of murdering an unidentified person at the Lumley/Aberdeen Beach area.
Moses Sesay, Alice Momoh and two others are in the safe custody of the police helping them in the investigation of a body abandoned at the Lumley/Aberdeen Beach on 21st February.
The Local Unit Commander, Congo Cross Police District, Superintendent Jobe, in an interview said his officers were on duty on 21st February when a distress call reached the station’s control room that a dead body was lying at the beach.
Upon receiving the information, detectives attached to CID Congo Cross visited the scene and discovered that the corpse had bruises and stab wounds all over his body.
He furthered that at the scene neither a family member nor anyone whatsoever was found in the area of the dead body.
Police investigation continues.
