Diana Konomanyi, VP & First Lady in ‘mix-up’

Desks of the Sierra Express have it that an APC Councilor, the Vice President and Sierra Leone’s First Lady are in a serious quarrel.  (Photo:  First Lady, Sia Nyama Koroma)

Diana Konomanyi, who until recently was elected as one of Kono District Councilors, deleted names of Vice President Sam Sumana and First Lady Sia Koroma on the list of invitees for her inaugural ceremony as Kono District Council Chairman.

Reports reaching this press indicate that Dianna submitted a list of names to a community radio station for transmission, but failed to include the names of two prominent individuals- the Vice President and the First Lady.

That the names of Vice President Sam Sumana, First Lady Sia Koroma and prominent stakeholders of Kono District were left out in list prepared by Diana.

Information has it that Diana has had little or no business with the Vice President and the First Lady Sia Koroma.

Even though Diana, for any reason, has failed to respond to consecutive telephone calls by this press, sources say she is virtually not on good terms with Sierra Leone’s First Lady at all.

It is a fact that youths of Kono recently took to the street in protest of Diana’s disrespectful conduct to prominent Kono indigenes.

The protest, according to findings, came owing to the deletion or no inclusion of the names of the Vice President and First Lady in the list of persons invited to witness Diana’s inaugural ceremony.

It is recalled however that Kono is the home of the Vice President and Sierra Leone’s First Lady.

Diana, who happens to be the daughter of a prominent Kono inheritor, Pa. Konomanyi, is the soon to be Kono District Council Chairman anytime from now.

She is a strong APC member and has been serving as senior party executive.

Unconfirmed revelation says Diana’s real time misunderstanding with Sierra Leone’s First Lady give a picture of ‘bone picking’ issues described by Kono residents as ‘deep’ and ‘fishy.’

Shades of thought describe misunderstandings between Diana, Vice President Sam Samuna and First Lady Sia Koroma as having the traits of … undone conducts of a high place authority.
