Tetteh scores as AIK loose

‘Fantastic’ is how many soccer pundits describe the Sierra Leonean international, Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura’s debut goal against Orebro; however his goal was not enough to save his AIK side face their first defeat in their pre-season campaign by a 3-1 margin today at their Stockholm IP Stadium.  (Photo: Tetteh celebrates in tears )

Despite it was a pre-season training encounter; his goal has gone down in history, an incredible bicycle goal from the agile striker is now amongst the top goals scored so far in the Swedish top flight football.

AIK started brightly and took the lead. It was fellow Sierra Leonean and team mate Mohamed Bangura’s play out to Daniel Gustavsson whose strike hit the post and at the far post met Tetteh to send it home in style.

AIK’s lead lasted for only 8 minutes as Orebro SK levelled wirh defender Nordin Gerzic’s high header during a corner kick, before AIK’s Per Karlsson home a loose ball to increase Orebro’s lead in the 38th minute of play.

The second half got worse for the host as Nordin Gerzic doubled his tally on the day, AIK never recovered after losing the lead and finally lost the match 3-1.
