George Wilson condems Super Eagles’ Coach Siasia’s loose tongue
USA based Sierra Leonean George Wilson, a man recognized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for his tremendous contribution to sports, particularly football, who in 2003 was instrumental in bringing Brazilian coach, Jose Antonio Nogueria to Sierra Leone, is not a happy man at the moment because of the disrespectful comment made by Nigerian coach Samson Siasia towards Leone Star’s coach, Christian Cole. Wilson who said he couldn’t contain his emotions over the comment by Coach Siasia, informed Sierra Express Media that he would “like to throw a challenge to Siasia that Sierra Leone can beat Nigeria. Nigeria do not have a better side than the Leone Stars, we can beat them,” he emphasized.
Leone Stars beat Nigeria’s Super Eagles previously in July 1987 2-0, and again April 2001 1-0, so Siasia calling Coach Christian Cole a comedian is insulting and inappropriate. Football is a game of sport, although you want your team to win each and every game, this is not always possible, however, determination, effort, and true sportsmanship goes a long way too.
Wilson stated he was disappointed with Siasia’s disrespectful comment towards the Leone Star’s coach. As a coach, Siasia should know better on how to address a fellow coach and to criticize in a professional way, not by throwing out some off-hand comment that has no foundation. In fact, Siasia in his capacity as head coach should display leadership qualities rather than childish derogatory comments.
Wilson concluded by saying he feels Siasia owes Cole an apology and this should be put in place before any animosity sets in between the two teams.

George Wilson should know about Nigerians by now. Loose tongue is part of Nigerians. There’s ways to talk to/about people without being so rude and arrogant.
