Youth endorse Agenda for Change
Middle of the World Organization and Saint Coast Blood Youth Groups that mediated and settled disputes among young people has concluded a successful meeting at it headquarters at 7B A.J. Momoh Street Freetown.
The meeting, according youths, is to initiate strategies in cleaning and beautification of their respective communities.
The cleaning, it is revealed, will kick start on the 6th March up until the celebration of the 50th Anniversary.
The project coordinator, Joseph S. Conteh alias 2-Cool, in interview, told this press that their organization intends to see young people become useful individuals of society rather than engaging into violent activities.
He said their organization supports the President’s agenda for change and will on no uncertain term go against such.
“In line with President Koroma’s clarion call for change, we have decided to embark on cleaning exercise at our communities,” he said.
He further disclosed that their organization has transformed the lives of many youths in the form of community development projects.
He however denounced all forms of violence in society and appealed to respective parastatals, NGOs, youth’s agencies and government to come to their aid to make their dreams come true.
The club’s organizing secretary, Gomah Richard, warned against lawlessness and asked all to be law abiding citizens.
