AIK’s duo Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura and Mohamed Poboshy Bangura will be leaving Arlanda International airport, Stockholm, on Tuesday early hours via Amsterdam for Lagos where they will join the rest of the Sierra Leone squad that will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles for Wednesday’s international friendly to be played in Teslim Balogun stadium, Surulere, Lagos.  (L-R Mohamed & Ibrahim in AIK colours)

The two pacy strikers’ making the trip means Nigeria head Coach Samson Siasia will have something to think about come Wednesday. Talking to Tetteh just before their departure to Arlanda airport, he said “it is a friendly with a competitive feeling.”

“We all realise it’s a friendly international but with a competitive feeling, our recent form in the African Nations Cup qualifiers against the likes of Egypt and South Africa allows us to gain recognition and every Sierra Leonean player aims at reaching Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012,” he said.

“In Africa, Nigeria is a great soccer nation, and we have a lot of respect for them and any good performance, despite the outcome, will gave us a great preparation for our match next month in Niamey, with that said we are not afraid of any side with big names anymore, “Tetteh stressed.

According to Supersport.com this encounter will be broadcast live on Super Sport 3 from 8pm (CAT) on Wednesday February 9th.
