New Name for Kailahun ‘Court Barray’

The commissioning of sixteen motor bikes past Saturday by Internal Affairs Minister drives out the name ‘Court Barray’ in place of ‘Di Pa En Base.’

Hon. Musa Tarawallie, while commissioning sixteen motor bikes to youths of Kailahun, told all that President Koroma’s dream for the district is to bring the good for all.

The Internal Affairs Minister, on behalf of his boss, President Koroma, assured youths of Kailahun that the APC has concern for their welfare.

He however donated Le 1 million as start up support to enable them to rent an office as they commence operations.

He said because their government cares for youth in Kailahun, the President saw it reasonable to provide motor bikes as a way of finding jobs for them.

He however promised to provide them with DSTV, musical set and also re-establish a canteen as was previously the case.

A total of 50 bags of cement were donated to Kailahun people for the completion of the town’s central mosque.

“Development is ultimate to the APC and that is what we stand for;” Minister Musa Tarawallie said.

“I called on the youths to organize themselves as meaningful citizens of society.”

He told the youth that the sixteen motor bikes were donated to them by the President.

The Internal Minister was given a massive welcome by school pupils, women, and youths representing respective chiefdoms.

The Chairman Youth Council, Sarty Banya, appreciated the visit of the Internal Affairs Minister and thanked him for his attention to the people of Kailahun.

He said the presence of all three visitors- Internal Affairs Minister, Deputy Minister of Employment and Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, manifests a brighter future for people of Kailahun.

He assured all three Ministers that Kailahun people will toe the line to put it all for the APC.

A representative of the paramount chief, Ishmail Foday, assured the Internal Affairs Minister that they as elders are in cordial relationship with the youths.

In his keynote address, Minister Musa Tarawallie urged the youths to join hands with President Koroma for the development of Sierra Leone.
