NEC Chair Cautions Chiefs
The chairperson for the National Electoral Commission Dr. Christiana Thorpe, who is also the National Returning Officer has last Wednesday cautioned local chiefs not to mingle with national politics or engage in any malpractice.
Dr. Thorpe who was speaking during a nation wide tour said traditional authorities should serve as role models for their people.
According to the NEC boss, as custodians of the land, chiefs should not be seen meddling with anything that would end up tarnishing their hard won reputation.
