Little wonder that the newly appointed Lands Minister is a worried man.  – It has reached desks of Sierra Express Media that Minister Pat Sowe’s recent restless humiliation of journalists was prompted by fear that monies dished into accounts of his former Ministry (Transport and Aviation) by donors of Climate Investment Project may be exposed.  (Photo:  Pat Sowe)

Revelations say that the sum of US$ 500,000 was dipped into accounts of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation, but has been swindled by officials designated to implement the project.

Facts, as disclosed, confirmed how Pat Sowe, then Minister of Transport and Aviation, humiliated journalists as they did follow up on how the CFI fund was utilized by officials of Lands Ministry.

That shortly after Minister Pat Sowe’s transfer from Transport and Aviation to Lands, investigative journalists coincidentally surfaced at the IT department of Lands Ministry to crosscheck on how monies dished out for the implementation of the CFI project were used.

Minister Pat Sowe, knowing that his hands are soiled, cleverly called on the police to arrest and keep behind smelly cells, all 4 journalists.

It is up till now shaming that the police, who on one occasion, threatened to charge the journalists later calmed down proffered denunciation without grounds.

Credible information reaching this press disclosed how the newly appointed Minister of Lands, Pat Sowe, doesn’t want journalists to expose corruption overindulgences of officials of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation and Lands in relation to hundreds of thousands of dollars paid by donors for the implementation of the CFI project.

Sierra Express on no uncertain terms has sworn an oath to investigate, expose and urge the conduct of an investigation against corrupt officials of government.

The anti corruption commission must however endorse an investigation in relation to the unreasonable withhold of funding for the CFI project.
