Usman Boie Kamara Sympathizes with Abacha Street Victims

One of SLPP’s hopefuls yesterday 13 January 2011 paid a compassionate visit to victims of the Sani Abacha Street fire disaster.

Usman Boie Kamara (in photo) was at the temporal homes of victims of the fire disaster at Sani Abacha Street to sympathize with them.

Usman Boie however called on those whose houses were burnt to take courage and accept things as they are.

“My intentions are to see Sierra Leoneans live a better and well placed life. One of which I believe can foster peace and love in society,” Usman Boie said.

The name Usman Boie, as on the lips of core and strong SLPP politicians, seemed to dominate the minds of delegates having the rights to vote in the election of party leader.

Sources say people continue to surrender their support for Usman Boie because of his love and feeling for society.

It was told to this press that members of the SLPP want delegates to elect Usman Boie as leader and flagbearer come the 2012 elections.

“Usman Boie’s sympathy for the poor and helpless is apparently the reason for his accelerating popularity from amongst fellow aspirants,” an SLPP member reiterated.

“If Usman Boie wins leadership in our party, it is sure the SLPP will unfailingly clinch the race for Presidency in 2012.”

Abubakarr Kanu who happened to be one of the victims, appreciates Usman Boie for providing them with Le 500,000, and therefore called on others to emulate him.

The victims thanked Usman Boie and prayed that the Lord God leads him in his endeavors to clinch the leadership of the SLPP. They referred to him as a true and compassionate patriot of Sierra Leone.
