Bangura and Flávio to join rest of team January 18th
Sierra Leonean international, Mohamed Pobosky Bangura and team mate Flávio missed the start of AIK’s pre-season training according to the Stockholm side, “their tickets were not booked accordingly,” said assistant coach Nebojsa Novakovic.
Both players will join the rest of the squad next Tuesday, January 18th according to AIK’s assistant coach Nebojsa Novakovic; they were unable to book the tickets on time.
AIK aims to lift themselves after the hard last year and they are already underway with pre-season training with two of the team’s big stars missing.
Notable new signing, Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura has started practicing with the team – but he is not fully fit. Tetteh is a best friend of Mohamed in their local team, FC Kallon, and he stepped down after one of the jogging workouts on Thursday’s session.
“It was the first workout for him so he took it easy. Nothing to worry about after a long journey travelling the body can be down,”said Novakovic.
