At the State Lodge in Bo town, the Minister met with religious leaders, Council of Elders, APC members, the youths and the old.

His arrival ignited minds of southerners into singing songs of praise in his name.

Members of the Council of Imams – Southern later converged to recite verses in the Holy Quran for their beloved son, Hon. Musa Tarawallie.

A member of the Council of Elders, Sheikh Sillah, told the gathering that the Honourable Minister (Musa Tarawallie) is a God fearing politician and in many instances has settled disputes from among the youths and elders.

In his statement, APC’s National Secretary General, Victor Bockarie Foe, said that with God’s favour, it is sure Hon. Musa Tarawallie will continue to rise and never again to fall.

He however called on southerners to work with Minister Tarawallie’s predecessor if they are to enhance national development.

He said President Koroma is never biased in the way he appoints his cabinet.

“The President hails from the north, but concentrates development in the South,” Minister Tarawallie said.

“He has updated the BKPS NPA machines, reconditioned main roads and highways and has asked that they rebuild the Residential Lodge.”

He also told the gathering that after the maintenance of the main Bo Road, there will be street lights at all corners in the town, which to him, is an indication of the President’s commitment and love for his people.

The meeting climaxed with the youths support for the APC party, calling the Internal Affairs Minister as a true symbol of southern progressiveness.
