Allieu Sesay, 3 others in office break in!

Tuesday 23rd was a ‘black day’ for staff of the National Revenue Authority (NRA) when three of their colleague workers were frog matched to CID headquarters to answer to questions relating to police investigation of allegation of office break-in and larceny of documents and computers.  (Photo:  Allieu Sesay)

Allieu, whom they say is a principal suspect, was yesterday invited by the CID, but promised to answer to their call anytime today.

His invitation, it is revealed, is to get his side concerning allegations that he conspired with armed robbers to steal computers and official documents of the NRA.

It could be recalled that in 2009, unknown armed men attacked the headquarter office of NRA and apparently carted away office computers and documents to destinations unknown.

Findings say documents and computers stolen by the robbers were items in office of the suspended and criminally indicted NRA Commissioner General, Allieu Sesay.

Allieu, who now answers to 57 counts charge at high court I, we are told, has been invited by the police for statement.

In an interview with the Deputy Director of CID, Superintendent Ibrahim Koroma aka Sizeman, it was confirmed that Allieu is one of police suspects and shall have to join three others presently helping them in their findings.

It was authoritatively told to our reporter that Allieu was contacted by the police for statement and will, alongside his lawyer, approach detectives at the CID to answer to contemporaneous cautionary questions from the investigators today.

Inside police findings say Foday B. Conteh, Sheku Sesay and one of Allieu’s personal assistants are in police cells helping in their investigation.
