Zain MAMA’s saves girl child from dropping out of school

Speaking to her in an interview, she expressed her plans to use the money judiciously in attending her interview at the Government Secondary School Kingtom on Monday the 15th November 2010. She thanked her elder brother for informing her about Zain’s activities at Lumley Beach.
Fatmata Bangura the mother of Hawa out rightly expressed happiness for the miracle Zain has done for their entire family. She was in despair all this while because of her lack of money to pay the interview fees for her daughter. She dedicated the life of her daughter to Zain and promised to subscribe to Zain, which she says is the best mobile company in the Sierra Leone. Manso Bangura the unemployed father of the girl encouraged her daughter and the entire family members to join the Zain family as the only mobile company in the country with such initiative. The second and third winners received Le 500,000 and Le 300,000 respectively.
LANSANA M. KAMARA was the first lucky winner for a trip to Lagos, Nigeria on the Zain MAMAs mid draw held at Lumley Beach west of Freetown on the 14th November 2010.
As he was speaking to the Corporate Affairs & Communications Executive of Zain, June- Rose Johnson, he expressed appreciation to Zain for granting him such an unexpected opportunity to enjoy all expense VIP trip to Lagos plus $500 in shopping money.
He is a poor farmer residing in Kenema with a family. This is an indication of transparency and fairness in the whole process. He is currently preparing for a trip to Freetown to secure his pass port book to witness the Zain MAMAs Awards in Lagos, Nigeria on 11th December 2010.
Fina Mansaray of 51 Old Railway line Tengbeh town also won Le 500,000 on that same draw followed by Gabriel Amara of 93 Regent Road central Freetown also benefited from the draw as he outstandingly clinched Le 300,000.
There were other attractive prizes like Zain modems; as Onita Tengbeh of Bennimix Compound in Bo town south of Sierra Leone and Abubakarr Fofanah of Arabic College Road in Makeni won the modems respectively.
Other Zain subscribers won assorted Zain items for taking part in the SMS trivia. Thousands of viewers who witnessed the draw applauded Zain for such a good initiative. Over two thousand Zain SIM Cards selling at Le1, 000 and loaded with Le1, 800 worth of top-up, were sold on the spot. This is an indication of the steps Zain has taken in ensuring affordability for everyone.
