Dear

I am pleased to inform you that I have decided to answer to the call of the people of Sierra Leone to serve and bring much needed change to our failing nation. Making the decision to aspire for the 2012 Sierra Leone presidential election was not easy, but after considering the importance of giving back and the significance of providing leadership that will put the country above all else, I have bravely accepted the request of my people.

History has very little good to say about Sierra Leone. We can certainly agree that the deplorable state of the country is a direct result of poor leadership; poor work ethics; lack of economic and political vision; a culture of dependency; a culture of corruption; a corrupt judicial system tainted by an environment of self-aggrandizing political and professional class and; political instability.

I pledge to work tirelessly to increase employment and create a thriving middle class, improve the education and healthcare system, and provide basic amenities. Moreover, I will provide uninterrupted power supply; build more dams to provide clean pipe-borne water for the entire populace; adopt alternative energy policies such as solar, wind, bio-fuel, and other renewable energy sources; ensure food security by devising effective agricultural strategies that guarantees sustainable production. Furthermore, I will privatize parastatals, where necessary, and improve efficiency and productivity in government.

The Independence of the judiciary is another important area that will get my focus. I will give full support and attention to the needs of the men and women in uniform while demanding honesty, fairness, discipline, and professionalism in return. I understand the importance of justice, law enforcement, order, and discipline as it should be in a civilized society. If you entrust me with the leadership of the SLPP, with your help, I promise not to betray your trust, but will use my ability to work with people across ethnic, regional and religious lines to unify our country.

Despite all the advantages, this campaign may have, we still need your help to achieve the set goals.  We know you to be someone who believes in necessary change and doing the right thing. We know that you love Sierra Leone. Please help us bring good leadership to Sierra Leone by making financial contribution to this campaign.

Your generous gift of any amount will definitely take us very far in our determination to develop and change Sierra Leone for the better.  You can make your donations through Pay Pal (Umaru Dumbuya) or you can either make a deposit at JP Morgan Chase bank (Umaru B. Dumbuya 2012 A/C #862048634, or at PNC Bank (Umaru B. Dumbuya A/C #4244119823); you can even send your donations to the above address.

Thank you in advance for your support and please sensitize others about this new positive movement to help turn the declining state of affairs in our beloved Sierra Leone around.

Sincerely,

Umaru B Dumbuya
