Revealed… ACC to probe Lands Director
Information grasped from behind enemy lines exposed ACC’s investigation of the Director of Ministry of Lands.
Dr. William Farmer, who doubles as Director of Lands, is currently been investigated by officials of the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) in respect of fabulous monies set aside by donor –World Bank- to undertake the Western Area Lands Registration Project.
The project, funded by the forenamed donor, saw the dishing out of thousands of US dollars in the enhancement of goals as mentioned in project proposals.
Monies appropriated for the registration of lands within the Western Area, according to findings, was never used for it purpose, but put into pockets of persons assigned to implement the project.
Questions as asked by the public requests ACC’s speedy conduct of investigation against Dr. Farmer and followers.
Sources say Dr. Farmer teamed up with the erstwhile Lands Permanent Secretary, Christian Smith, in stage-managing the latter’s transfer to State House.
Christian Smith’s transfers to State House has been branded by many as ‘smelling the brunt’ of allegation of misappropriation.
It is revealed that Dr. Farmer was entitled to a whooping reimbursement of $10,000 bucks as take home allowance.
It has reached this press that state lands are also sold to private individuals despite government’s imposed moratorium.
