African Minerals Employment Explosion!
Skeptics cannot deny that Frank Timis and African Minerals (AML) have certainly brought change to Sierra Leone in one form or another. Negative comments circulated in the past over the thousands of jobs African Minerals promised to bring to the country, however, AML have lived up to their word as so far hundreds of people looking for jobs have been presented with a plethora of vacancies, particularly of late as they flow like a river. AML, Sierra Leone’s largest employer, is providing the opportunity for Sierra Leonean male and female youths, and adults, to make a career for themselves. From administrative positions, to drivers, crane operators, security, management, etc., there is an abundance of jobs for Sierra Leoneans.
AML has already attracted many Sierra Leoneans who have gained knowledge and experience in the Diaspora to come back home to secure employment.
With the new gained wealth employees of AML are finding themselves in, this in turn helps the country’s economy as citizens have more disposable income available to spend on commodities other than basic necessities.
On speaking to several citizens who returned to Sierra Leone from the Diaspora, many stated that if it was not for African Minerals and the golden opportunities offered, they would not have been able to reestablish themselves with their homeland, families and old friends.
Aminata Kamara, a young college graduate stated, “The availability of the Internet and Sierra Express Media and other online news sources, has kept me up-to-date with events in Sierra Leone. It has also presented me the opportunity to apply for employment with AML and return back home, where my heart always belongs and to have a great salary which presents me with a good standard of living in Sierra Leone, something I never dreamed would happen. AML is an equal opportunity employer, and this is something that women in Sierra Leone should take advantage of.”
African Minerals have created a remarkable difference in so many lives in Sierra Leone and this is just the beginning of their promise. Thousands of more jobs are in the pipeline as AML advances in the stages of its project.
Not only is AML exploiting Sierra Leone resources, but they are also giving back to the community with aid for education, housing, infrastructure, and the list is endless … As AML embraces Sierra Leone, in return, let’s embrace African Minerals with both arms.
Stay with Sierra Express Media, for your trusted place in news!
