The City Mayor is getting fat!
Officials of Freetown City Council were taken aback shortly after it was revealed that their boss, Mayor Herbert Williams (in photo), receives millions as pocket money every 24 hours.
Of course, it makes no mention or doubt that the Sierra Express Media has received information revealing daily pocket money of Mayor Herbert.
Public concern demands that Mayor Herbert explains legal authority empowering him collecting from funds of City Council huge amount on a daily basis.
To Sierra Express Media, it is of concern that Mayor Herbert’s say creeps into the story.
In light of the above, efforts to get exclusive interview with the Mayor were explored but yielded no result.
The Freetown City Council, like other councils countrywide, collects tax from citizens, business people, house owners etc.
Monies so collected are supposedly to be used for authentic, legitimate, indisputable purposes; city development, sanitation, construction of schools and issues of public concern.

what is wrong with someone getting fat? i hate this headline bcoz it too sensational and fallacious.Is it the mayor getting fat the issue of the story? or the story is about unaccounted money collected by the mayor from the council funds. News is a commodity to be bought and sold, says TONYA MUSA, lecturer at the mass communication department FBC. If that is so, the headline should should match with the story. plz avoid sensational headlines, it’s against the code of professional journalism. thnx for receiving my comment.
