And Will Albert Ansu Prove…?

And Will Albert Ansu Prove…?

Albert Ansu, editor Spectator newspaper, who has recently metamorphosed to becoming a soldier of fortune for SL Brewery in the guise of cheque book journalism, thoughtlessly takes for granted misguided data and posted on his newspaper’s October 15th edition: “…Ibrahim Samura, a dismissed Police officer…”

How blurred is this editor in the live vision of Ibrahim Samura?

Albert Ansu should not be blamed for his simplicity.

His time could not be wasted in aimlessly darkening the doors of one institution in the name of searching for promotional stories but at the end of it all to fend for his living, as up till yet he could not detach himself from the umbilical cord impressionable life notwithstanding the 15 years he claimed to have served the profession.

Any wonder then that most journalists are still not credible in the eyes of the public.

Ansu spares little or no time for investigative, accurate, fair and balance reporting.

Anyway, Ibrahim Samura is proud to say to readers that he resigned from the police force in November of 2004; of course, in Albert Ansu’s half page article, he describes Ibrahim Samura as being a quack.

At the Sierra Express, we are omnipresent and all-pervasive, we are often unaware of the addictive hold exert over our attention and the messages we implant in our consciousness.

Only people with integrity and uprightness stay ‘on the fence’ unmoved and unshakeable.

Hustlers don’t; they go for food finding and in the event turned pens against colleague journalists.

It will appease this medium and persons reading the dailies, if the Spectator editor, Albert Ansu, will provide certificated qualification supporting his proclamation being a media professional; at least a certificate in journalism.

I have spent fewer years in journalism (four minimum) but made worth rating achievements.

Of course, it is to our knowledge that the Spectator editor roams streets of Freetown slouching around in falsehood and bogus pretence of owning a certificate from the Mass Communication Department at Fourah Bay College. It begs believes the truth behind the self acclamation.

Like I have done, I challenged Albert Ansu to produce his self acclaimed certificate.

No wonder why the Mass Communication Department is now being used as subterfuge by pseudo by journalists as their training platform.

Thanks to the institution of the guild of newspaper editors.

When the net is widely cast, we will begin to see the nuts tightened so that those purporting with fake credentials will find themselves where they belong.

My last word to Albert Ansu: we are still friends, and don’t you ever see me and turn your face elsewhere like you did the last time.
