Sankoh’s Stromsgodset in away clash
Stromsgodset midfielder, Alfred Sankoh who made his debut for Sierra Leone against South Africa in Freetown in the ongoing African Nations Cup qualifiers last Sunday is expected to rejoin his Norwegian side in Tippeligaen division to face second place Vålerenga this Saturday.
The Leone Stars new boy was amongst the Stromsgodset side that lost away to Viking Stavanger 3-1 before heading to join his national side in the Bafana v Leone Stars game resulting in 0-0.
Stromsgodset are in ninth position in Tippeligaen table with 37 points from 26 matches, a win for them will see them climbing to the top half of mid table surpassing Start IK and Vikings Stavanger that is if both sides fail to grab maximum points in their respective matches.
The 22year old attacking midfielder formerly from Ullern was instrumental for his national team this past Sunday in Freetown in front of his excited home fans.
Meanwhile, Vålerenga playing at home will be desperate for victory as they are chasing Rosenborg for top spot.
