Afsatu Kabba – pay Le 450 million in 4 weeks or face 3 years in prison
A high court in Freetown has convicted Afsatu Kabba (in photo), the sacked Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources on 5 counts of corruption. The court acquitted her on 2 counts of abuse of office. She is to pay Le 450 million (about US$100,000) within 4 weeks or go to jail for 3 years.
