TYPE-SL Wants Project Officer Nailed
A Port Loko based non-governmental organization, Talented Young People Everywhere (TYPE-SL), is to take to task, the project officer of Campaign for Good Governance (CGG) on issues defined as ‘undue blackmail’ of the aforementioned NGO.
Mohamed Kamara, project officer CGG, is said to have been spreading defaming and uncalled for information, blackmailing TYPE-SL of having to pay him Le 800,000 for facilitation exercises he was hired to do.
Facts as tabled on desks of Sierra Express Media explains how Mohamed has on the contrary submitted a complaint of libel to Port Loko court against TYPE-SL.
That the NGO, as forenamed, told press men that he (Mohamed) was disseminating letters to various organizations, accusing TYPE-SL owing him money to the tune of Le 800,000.
The matter which was to have come up Monday 4th in the Port Loko magistrate courts did not come up due to the unavoidable absence of the magistrate.
Sources say tendencies as observed in Mohamed’s claims seemed unfounded and baseless- the writ has too many flaws.
Reflections as to Mohamed’s shameless and reckless claims, as said by TYPE-SL, explains woeful lies of claims made by the former.
“The CGG project officer, Mohamed Kamara, was indeed asked by TYPE-SL to act as facilitator for two days workshop held weeks ago. He was to facilitate the workshop for two consecutive days, but did just one hour and melted in thin air,” Ibrahim H.K Shaid National Coordinator TYPE-SL disclosed.
“Mohamed cunningly received advance payment of Le 200,000 and found his way to elsewhere. He was never again seen until the conclusion of the workshop”
Mohamed, TYPE-SL National Coordinator said, is not far from being called a common criminal.
That he can be better called a street boy than as a project officer for an institution that commands absolute respectability.
The books, the Bible and Quoran, has in its content qualifications exposing persons receiving and eating food they have not worked for.
The case of CGG’s project officer is no exception at all.
Investigation has revealed how Mohamed had unwarrantedly flouted and violated agreement for facilitation of workshop as called for between him and management of TYPE- SL.
His individuality of deceit was observed minutes after the release of a letter that speaks very big lie against TYPE-SL.
Most daunting was revelations of Kamara’s unwholesome activities in the provinces and his secret begging of funds from organizations unknowingly to his parent institution – the CGG.
Residents of Port Loko, few days ago, revealed to our reporter that the CGG Project officer, on a number of occasions, have solicited funds from reputable organizations in Port Loko town unheard to the institution he works for.
In an interview with the legal office TYPE-SL, H Geavoh, he disclosed that content in writ of summon against his organization has too many flaws and will make no issue in the well of the Port Loko court.
Unconfirmed information states how the writ of summons was prepared by a court clerk instead of a legal practitioner.
Matter is expected to come up next Tuesday.
