The fine striker now playing his trade with KE Appelterre in Belgium has reiterated his intention to Sierra Express Media three weeks to Leone stars second encounter in the ongoing 2012 African Nations Cup qualifiers, facing tough opponent Bafana Bafana who recently climb FIFA ranking.
“I am always happy to represent my country, which is the dream for every professional, playing for Leone Stars is a privilege, considering the lots of talented players across Europe, so having any opportunity I will defiantly take it” he confessed; but noted that “it is completely down to the manager if he deems it fit to include me in his selection.”
The experienced striker who has played a lot of competition with former club Horoya Athletic, where he played for four seasons, winning four trophies, representing Horoya in the biggest competition for club football in Africa, played in the African Champions league against Shaba du Mohamdia of Morocco, USMA of Algeria, Hearts of Oak of Ghana and Sporting of Bissau, is fit and ready again to help his national side reach the 2012 Cup of Nations.
Dondem a few days ago opened his account for his side KE Appelterre, scored one from three matches. He was part of the Leone Stars team that held The Malians to a draw in Freetown where he was instrumental.
