The Presidency of Hon. Abdul Bero Kamara ‘Chief’ and Hon. Ibrahim Sesay, WDC Chapter
In today’s tough and uncertain political atmosphere, the APC Washington DC Metropolitan Chapter needs strong leadership in its executive towards accomplishing the Chapter’s political goals. Although being a President is more than just an ordinary leader of this Chapter it is also about being a problem solver, cheerleader, captain, and planner as well. Moreover, a leader in any organization like this Washington DC Chapter doesn’t come in one-size-fits-all shape or form; he/she fulfills many roles and has many different responsibilities at each level of leadership within the organization. The Washington DC Chapter belongs to a political party (APC) which has groups of political individuals who constantly join forces to accomplish common goals. Sometimes the goals of other political groups are for profit, or for churches or public schools which are nonprofit. No matter what their aim is, these two criteria’s share two things in common: they’re made up of people, and certain individuals are in charge of these people.
Leaders like Hon. Abdul Bero Kamara appear in every organization — at least in political organizations like ours, all they want is success. These individuals like Abdul Bero’s administration, are good at task in making decisions, solving difficult problems, setting goals, planning strategies, and rallying individuals, and those are just a few of the responsibilities Abdul Bero aka “Chief” is good at it!
To be more precise, Hon. Abdul Bero and Hon. Ibrahim Sesay, are leaders who will administer and coordinate resources effectively and efficiently to achieve the Chapter’s goals of this great political party. That is to say the two will get the job done through other people, like their executive. They don’t have to take a fight of any type by themselves – they don’t have to take the bull by the horn. Let’s other do it.
A leader in any society must encourage certain groups of executive members to reach common political goals, such as bringing new ideas to promote a political branch in a timely fashion – these are the few of the reasons you must vote for President Abdul Bero Kamara (Designate) and Vice President – Ibrahim Sesay (Designate).
Take an inside look at Bero’s administration in their decision-making process
Quite accurately, this political organization in the WDC Chapter operates by people making decisions. The President plans, organizes, leads, and controls his team by executing decisions. The effectiveness and quality of those decisions determine how successful a leader will be. His leadership will be constantly called upon to make decisions in order to solve problems.
Hon. Abdul Bero’s decision making and problem solving are an ongoing processes of evaluating situations or problems, considering alternatives, making choices, and following them up with the necessary actions. Sometimes the decision making process is extremely short, in other situations the process can drag on for weeks or even months. The entire decision making process in his coming administration is dependent upon the right information being available to him at the right time – not an hearsay.
Bero’s administrative decision-making process involves the following steps:
- He defines the problem.
- He identifies limiting factors.
- He develops potential alternatives.
- He analyzes the alternatives.
- He selects the best alternative.
- He implements the decision, and
- He establishes a control and evaluation system.
When all these are done, he can move on to correct, define and/or amend the problems. That’s the leadership mannerism we are looking for here in the Washington DC Metro Chapter.
