Flaws in NMJD Booklet … and content is malicious

At the British Council Hall on Tuesday 7th September 2010, a booklet titled ‘Dancing with a Chameleon’ which points accusing fingers of dubious overindulgences of African Minerals Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Frank Timis (in photo), brought to light woes of very big lies in the content.

In the booklet, it was observed that piles of allegations castigating and making incredible, African Minerals’ CEO, Mr. Frank Timis, was the entire make up of NMJD’s (National Movement for Justice and Development) research on mining activities countrywide.

“Robust and overconfident,” said African Minerals’ representative in the person of the Corporate Manager, Mustapha Sesay, in his five minutes statement summarized the content in the booklet as having too many flaws, completely libelous, enviously subjective and showing a lack of understanding of the prospecting and exploration concepts in the case of geophysical air magnetic survey.

That the book’s accusation of African Minerals jolly trip to Romania with Minister Alpha Kanu, was false and has no jot of truth at all.

“Timis took the Minister of Mineral Resources, Alpha Kanu, on a trip to Romania, and quickly the Sierra Leone government backed Timis,” lies disputed in the published booklet of NMJD.

It has been told to The Sierra Express Media that the unrestricted blackmailing of Frank Timis by organizations tagged as ‘civil society’ makes glaring of unconfirmed information that DFID don’t want him (Timis) operating the big mining business in this country.

Public opinion says Sierra Leoneans heartily welcome African Minerals Limited and its CEO Frank Timis in the business of mining.

A petty trader along Fourah Bay Road was also heard as saying that he was never fortunate to set eyes on a locomotive engine (train), but has seen one due to African Minerals better and creative thought of development for all.

Although the chairman for the launching of the forenamed book, Mr. Ngolo Katta, tactfully avoided making critical comment in favour of, or against the writers of the book, observers that witnessed the ceremony condemned NMJD for poor research and say the book makes no impact on the lives of society.

Information reaching this press reveals how a Canadian diamond organization that funded NMJD spent thousands of United States dollars to cause research on the conduct of mining operatives in Sierra Leone.

It could be recalled that the African Minerals has been, and is still, spending hundreds of millions on Sierra Leone and Sierra Leoneans and has been the only company to have taken risks in the conduct of HRAM SURVEY, searching for various minerals country wide.
