200 Street Lights for Kailahun Town
A staunch member of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party who is also Chairman of the Kailahun District Council, Councillor Tom Nyuma has disclosed to this medium about His Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma’s determination to provide electricity for the people of Kailahun town.
In an exclusive interview with Sierra Express Media, the Kailahun Chairman said the president has provided additional funding for the construction of roads not only in Kailahun town but also in the district as a whole.
Chairman Nyuma observed that the socio-economic development of Kailahun is very crucial, taking into consideration it strategic position, bothering both Guinea and Liberia. Kailahun town is also important in terms of infrastructure such as roads and health centres, he added.
The former NPRC strongman intimated that his invitation to travel with the President Ernest Bai Koroma has not in any way intended to cross carpet to the APC.
He made it crystal clear that he has no intention to join the APC and that he is still SLPP and will ever remain SLPP.
The outspoken Chairman further informed this press that the funds doled out for the traveling was drawn from the consolidated fund and regarded as a privilege traveling with the president on his invitation.
