‘Love One Another’ campaign goes to Aberdeen
The top brass of the campaign for Love One Another last Saturday 28th August, officially unveiled a metal sign post at the Aberdeen roundabout, West end of Freetown.
The notice board contained positive messages about love and bad messages about exploitation that leads to the underdevelopment of the country.
The snappy program was graced by the Administrative Head of the Freetown City Council, Mr. Bowhen Philip, who spoke on behalf of the Mayor of Freetown City Council, Albert George Williams.
Addressing his audience, Mr. Philip expressed appreciation of the Love One Another team for their relentless effort in campaigning against exploitation which serves as a cankerworm in the development of the country.
He maintained that Sierra Leone is a blessed nation, endowed with rich natural resources which are enough to make our country dependent without the support of any other country’s tax money for the development of the country.
Mr. Philip encouraged all to take the campaign seriously and embrace one another in the Aberdeen community, because with love and togetherness they can move a mountain.
The National Chairman of Love One Another Campaign, Dr. Christian Bell said the fight against exploitation should be the concern of all Sierra Leoneans if only we want to move ahead.
He called on people in the Aberdeen community to serve as watch dogs over the notice board they had placed in their community.
