Police boss demands newspaper retraction
The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations, Morie Lengor has reacted angrily over a publication on the Tuesday edition of the Atomic newspapers which carried a lead headline “Police boss questions President Koroma’s decision”.
The Assistant Inspector General at the usual police press briefing held at the police headquarters George Street yesterday disassociated himself from the said publication as reported in the Atomic press.
Mr. Morie Lengor said an interview was held with him by a reporter, but never with the Atomic reporter. “I have never known the reporter before neither did I utter such a reckless statement,” he said
He therefore demanded a retraction of the said publication and the publication must been given a front page attention, failing which he will seek legal action.
