Zain Sierra Leone, the leading and most innovative telecommunication company in the country over the years has introduced many many value added products and services to its numerous subscribers.
One of these services is the mobile internet. Following the introduction of this product and service, another was introduced which is the “Zain Youth Club” aimed at providing affordable mobile telephony and internet access to students all over the country .
With this offer students can now access the internet through their mobile phones for just 10 units per mega byte.
This offer appeals to secondary and tertiary educational institutions and with such offer ongoing, the company has enrolled over 20,000 students from a wide range of institutions in the country.

“With my phone configured to the internet I am glued to Facebook, Twitter and can even Google information relating to my studies, all using my phone. But mostly I love Facebook because I can update my status, write on my wall and my friends wall, receive status updates from chosen friends, comment on my friends updates and receive the comments written on my wall by my friends.”
She further explains that browsing through the net with her phone on Facebook has greatly helped her keep in touch with old friends and relations more especially my school days friends. It’s fun all the way!
She then commended Zain for this initiative as it is in the interest of the present day students. Zain has again over taken others in that segment.
