Modoma Section Chief welcomes airport at Koya
The newly crowned section chief of Madoma section, Pa Alimamy Bongo Kamara II, in an opening statement to the people of Koya chiefdom, said that the government’s initiative to open a new airport in Koya Chiefdom is warmly welcomed and appreciated by the people of the chiefdom.
Speaking to this medium at Masiaka, the headquarter town of the chiefdom, Pa Alimamy Bongo Kamara said that their paramount chief is lucky that during his reign Koya is able to get an airport in the chiefdom. He also added that as far as he is concerned as a young chief he has really enjoyed the reign of Chief Bai Kompa Bomboli II because he always treated them as young chiefs who are just learning the job of chieftaincy.
He further disclosed that all the section chiefs Bai Kompa crowned are chosen from the right ruling house. Because of this he has tried to untie all faces in Koya chiefdom. He said very soon Koya chiefdom will be transformed into a big city in this country.
Chief Bai Kompa Bomboli has contributed immensely by building schools, both primary and secondary schools. He has also provided health facilities to for his chiefdom people.
