Sillah – Letter of Appreciation and Gratitude
Dear Mr. Editor, Please allow me to express my sincere appreciation and profound gratitude in your widely read newspaper for publishing an interview conducted with me by our Saudi Press Attaché, Alhaji Jalloh (photo).
The exclusive interview headlined “President Koroma’s Government Scores High Marks in Saudi Arabia” has culminated to a magnitude of positive reactions that have come from a number of great and fervent readers of your paper, prominent among them is, Mr. Abdallah Sesay in Berlin-Germany.
Through you Mr. Editor, I wish to sincerely thank Mr. Sesay for his positive comments on the interview in general and about my person in particular.It’s exhilarating, and indeed heartening to realize that there are people like Mr. Sesay who appreciate the good work of their compatriots and unreservedly voice out their feelings  in an objective fashion. I am grateful to Mr Sesay for his true and unabiased sentiments.Mr. Sesay, rest assured that you and I share this very characteristic.
Indeed, I’ve never met Mr. Sesay (though I wish I could do so in the future), but I believe he is a man of high caliber and integrity.
On the other hand, Mr. Editor, let me take this opportunity to sincerely thank our Ambassador here, H.E. Wusu B. Munu for his appreciation of the interview and the positive he made about my responses. I wish Ambassador Munu continued successes in his mission. Like I said in the interview, Ambassador Munu’s appointment to this vital region has made a huge positive difference amongst Sierra Leone nationals in Saudi Arabia. His modesty and patriotic stance are examples worthy of emulating.
Finally, let me thank Ambassador Munu’s Press Secretary, Alhaji Jalloh, for his splendid journalistic work. Alhaji Jalloh’s appointment to the Arab Gulf has been indeed a source of delight and pride for us Sierra Leoneans residing in the Middle East in general and for those of us residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular. His approach towards Embassy’s related issues and handling of national and international issues plus his agility to disseminate information have been highly appreciated by every Sierra Leone national here.I, therefore, encourage him to stay more focused and continue the good work he has vigorously started.
Mr. Editor, once again, thanks for publishing the interview and for publishing this letter of mine. I wish your paper continued success.
