Ady Macauley Schools SLPP Propagandists
The learned legal heavyweight of Sierra Leone, Ady Macauley Esq has on Friday 13th November 2020 schooled the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) alarmists and miscreants who have vowed to destroy the hard worn reputation of selected member of senior statesmen who tirelessly served Sierra Leone under the leadership of former Present Ernest Bai Koroma.
The legal Mayweather of Sierra Leone, Ady Macauley Esq was responding on Star Good Morning Show Television Programme online where a member of the government’s propaganda team under the Ministry of Information and Communications dubbed ‘strategic communication Unit’ Imram Sillah has made so much derogatory statements against former senior government officials under the leadership of President Koroma.
Mr. Macauley cautioned Imram Sillah to be mindful of his diction in describing persons of interest mentioned in the SLPP government’s Commissions of Inquiry and subsequent orchestrated and premeditated Government White Paper claiming to confiscate properties of past government officials under the leadership of EBK. Ill-informed Paopa Imram Sillah and his cohorts have been parading the traditional and new media calling derogatory names of selected members of those who served former President Koroma mainly those from the northwest of Sierra Leone while they celebrate the likes of Denis Sandy (current Land Minister), Musa Tarawally, and Sahr Jus, Matthew Dinge to name but few.
The Legal luminary Ady Macauley reacted by correcting some of the misinterpretations of the laws of Sierra Leone from the Office of the Attorney General and the Strategic Communication Unit of the current SLPP government stating that President Julius Maada Bio was graceful enough to give the persons of interest 90 days to appeal. Lawyer Macauley stated that it is not the prerogative of President Bio to give 90 days to persons of interest to appeal but it is rather prescribe by law citing Rule 11 of the Court of Appeal Rule of 1985. He frankly maintained that he finds it very disrespectful to hear Paopa Imram Sillah to call persons of interest as thieves. He called on Imram Sillah to go and listen to the diction of Lahai Momoh Farmer Esq (Legal consultant at the Office of the Attorney General) he referred to persons of who are found wanting by the government white paper as judgement debtors and not thieves. He added that even the Commissions of Inquiry didn’t accused persons of interest as they stole, citing that one of the persons of interest whom the government white paper alleged that he has to pay back, the alleged misappropriation took place while he was no longer in that office.
Ady Macauley further puncture the government white paper by stating that even the accounting firm that served as consultant for the Ebola response have reacted by saying that these monies that have been alleged to have been stolen was in the bank account as of September 26, 2020, how could you in good conscience to accused that institution as thieves or they have stolen money. He called on Imram Sillah to publicly apologize for his choice of words against persons of interest.
The legal heavyweight called on the government of president Bio to publicly announce the names and institutions of persons of interest whom they alleged that they have paid back monies the white paper asked them to pay for the sake of transparency, adding that names of persons interest were published whom they alleged they have stolen public, why must they keep secret those who have paid?
It could be recalled that the SLPP henchmen have been parading the traditional and the new media claiming that a significant persons of interest have paid back monies they alleged they have stolen without publishing the names and institutions of those who have paid.
