The sad end of Oumar Al-Bashir
After holding the people of Sudan to ransom for a protracted period of three decades, the Sudanese dictator has been disgracefully flushed out of power in the wake of chaos caused by mass demonstrations for the embattled politician to step down.
The military personnel that finally arrested him, according to eyewitness accounts, gave him a few slaps that sent off his glasses! His gown and turban cap were taken off before being forced to sit on the floor.
Al-Bashir had tangled up himself with years of human rights violations and dictatorship to the point that he had no exit strategy.
What a sad end for an African leader!
