MPS Call for Improved Welfare in Sierra Leone

The law maker who raised the motion on behalf of colleague legislators in Parliament last Thursday, 2019 at Kingtom stressed that they would not hold any sitting in Parliament until the issue relating to their welfare addressed. ‘’Let it be now or today because we can no longer wait’’, he stressed.

Responding to Honorable Lahai Marrah, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Sengepoh Solomon Thomas reiterated that he is equally concerned about the issue raised as a Member of Parliament and expressed passion about the improvement of their welfare.

‘’We have hold robust and fruitful meeting to address the issue of welfare among Parliamentarians’’, he told colleague law makers and he therefore invited members of all political parties in Parliament in a meeting immediately to see how they could address their modules relating to what he described as an important matter.
