Over His Statement On 98.1 Dr. Dennis Bright Sets The Records Straight
The chairman and leader of the opposition, National Grand Coalition Party (NGC), Dr. Dennis Bright (in photo), who was quoted by this medium’s Monday, 8th October, 2018 publication to have said that ‘’ The SLPP may be toppled out of power before 2023 Election’’ , has in an exclusive interview with this writer, denied making such statement.
According to him, he only admonishes the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) government to be cautious in ruling the country noting that they should strive in trying to unite the country. He furthered that he did condemn the violence conduct of both the SLPP and the main opposition, APC, during the local council bye election in Kambia which resulted to the death of a 14 year old boy.
He also widely condemned the spate of violence perpetrated across the country by mostly supporters of the ruling SLPP and for which he called on the leadership of the party to take stringent action in order to curtail such ugly occurrences.
