With $4M to be spent on Oversea Medical Treatment
for Government officials – Financial Recklessness Hits SLPP Government
The Budget hearing told that $4M is spent on overseas medical treatment for Sierra Leoneans as Health Ministry ask for Le234 billion wage bill for 2019. Such a huge mentioned amount is spent wastefully and recklessly at the detriment of the suffering masses and the tax payers. Quite an encouraging number of Sierra Leoneans were expressing their national concerns, in an interview conducted by the Sierra Express Media, in relation to the reasonable medical facilities that are in existence here, as against those substantial bills attached to such facilities out there. The commoners are pinpointing on the fact that our medical position here is deplorable, and as a result our politicians and senior citizens do prefer foreign medical attention than the one provided locally. The general consensus when interacted with by this medium was the crystal fact that this particular Bio led administration has not demonstrated patriotism and passion for the people of this country since occupying the seats of power in March this year.
Based on reliable sources, the electorates are well determined to continuously hold the Minister of Health and Sanitation, Dr. Alpha W. Wurie to task with regards such reckless spending and for failing to address the prevailing health abnormalities that are serving as cancer worms, eating the fabrics of the ordinary Man who cannot afford costly medical bills.
When a group of well-informed tax payers were interviewed, they made their painful submission and strongly warn this government to desist from unnecessary spending of their hard labored finances, adding that all revenue spent should match with the expenditure incurred and that the stipulated finance allocated on such medical treatment is substantial compared to the available facilities here.
