As ACC Redo Hajjgate Indictment Victor Foh Faces More Charges
The Commissioner, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Francis Ben Kelfala has postponed the High Court matter against the accused, erstwhile Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Victor Bockarie Foh and compatriots.
In a telephone conversation, the ACC Commissioner yesterday reiterated that the matter has been postponed to August 20th 2018 for the Commission to properly redo indictments and increases charges on the accused.
Victor Bockarie Foh and compatriots namely, Sheka Sahid Kamara and Abu-Bakarr Carew were supposed to have made their first appearances on July 30th 2018 in the High Court of Sierra Leone following the 2018 Hajj saga.
The charges include conspiracy to commit a corruption offence contrary to section 128 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Act No.2 of 2008, misappropriation of public funds contrary to section 36 of the Anti-Corruption Act No.12 of 2008 among others.
