Alieu Fofanah Threatened To Be Killed By Cliques And Gangs
A young man born on the 24th June, 1998 at No. 2 Kanu Drive, Regent Road, off Mamamah Lumley, in the City of Freetown, West Africa. He is engaged in repairing mobile phones to earn his living.
According to him just after the announcement of the first results of the Sierra Leone 2018 March 7th Presidential and Parliamentary Elections, one of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Candidate for the Parliamentary Elections won in that Ward and Constituency by the name of Ibrahim Tawa Conteh. Upon the result decided to move on a thank you tour within the Community that voted for him and Alieu Fofanah was part of his Campaign Team.
They visited the Kanigo Community and headed for the Mammy Queen’s house to say thanks, where they luckily met her with some of her key Community Members dinning together, soon as Ibrahim Tawa Conteh greeted the Mammy Queen and was about to say thanks according to Alieu Fofanah, one among Mammy Queen’s men asked if they are there to provoke them and just after this question stones started coming at them from different angles that got many of them injured and some were rushed at a nearby Health Center for immediate treatment.
Alieu Fofanah been a strong supporter of Ibrahim Tawa Conteh was heavily attacked, damaged too and threatened to be killed by cliques and gangs staying in the community because of his support for the SLPP parliamentary candidate that won the seat. According to him, he has been full with fear for his life and has decided to go off the community and the city itself. To the Provinces he had wanted to travel do reports of the same violence heavily taking place, with that has decided to travel out of the country to seek asylum for safety after having a close interview with him at a disclosed location.
