King Kong FC to Nurture Young Talents

The secretary general of King Kong Football Club (KKFC), Alex Augustine Samu has revealed that, they will soon start touring the entire country in a bid to highlight young talents players and give them professional contracts.

According to the secretary general, Alex Augustine in an exclusive interview with this medium said the management of KKFC is willing in complementing government effort especially in the area of promoting young talents who involved in football activities across the country adding that, KKFC is an amateur football club for Under 12, 14 and 17 respectively.

He said, F.C.King Kong has plans to transform football in Sierra Leone by nurturing young kids from lower level to top flight football with new innovations which will provide self-employment for young people in Sierra Leone adding that the club has been engaging in several friendly matches across the Freetown Municipality in the Western Rural Urban District and also in the Western Rural Area District of Waterloo, Jui and other remote communities in a bid to recognized more young players  in various communities and encourage huge fan base for the team.

“We will soon start to tour the entire country by playing constant friendly matches with other community teams to highlight young talented players”, F.C.King Kong Secretary General confirm. He said F.C.KING KONG is one of the giants’ football team in Asian tournament with effective management structures and that they will be expecting young players to continue working hard with their trainings, so that they too will be opportune  to participant in future tournament.

He noted that the team is full of young people who are very determined to improve their talents in football and that they have also been contributing in the area of health, education and other social activities to keep their players fit.

The secretary general added that F.C.King Kong has also joined the new government of President Bio to make the first national cleaning exercise a success story by giving massive support to the exercise.

He expresses confidence to the new minister designate of sport, Ibrahim Nyelenweh who he describe as an expert in the sporting world with enough experience adding that he hope under his regime Sierra Leone will be great again especially in the football world and that according to new-reports, he said football stakeholders has stated a deadline that date for the kickoff of the national leagues in the country after several years of wasted time.

He appeals to Sierra Leoneans and the new administration to give their unflinching to the team in various capacity to promote national development.
