School Pupils Embrace Rokel Commercial Bank
Hundreds of the Freetown Secondary School for Girls (FSSG) pupils have assured senior personnel of the Rokel Commercial Bank that they are readily willing to save their money with RCB which they described as the number one banking institution in the country.
Speaking on behalf of colleague pupils at a meeting held at the FSSG school grounds to tell them the important of saving money at early as possible, Isatu Sesay, a Commercial One pupil the initiative would help them as pupils to stop wasting money and encouraged fellow pupils to save with RCB and watch their money grows.
Responding, the Chief Executive Officer for RCB Dr. Ekundayo Gilpin reaffirmed that every pupil wanted Sierra Leone to be proud and encouraged pupils to see the need to save their finances with RCB and maintained that the meeting was to teach the pupils on how they should benefit out of their money through saving with RCK which he described as the people’s choice for banking.
The Marketing Manager for RCB, Mariama Jagua said the initiative would not be limited in Freetown but it will be taken to Bo by the weekend adding that they will also take the initiative in other parts of the country. “We want to see a world where everyone involves in banking”, said the Marketing Manager.
Madam Jagua further entreated pupils that the initiative would not only enhance saving, business and finance but it also increase their financial knowledge and awareness and concluded by calling on all Sierra Leoneans and even non-citizens to do business with RCB as the number one banking institution in the country.
